OFFICIAL: Barca forward Paco Alcacer joins Dortmund on loan

Barcelona forward Paco Alcacer has officially joined Borussia Dortmund on loan with an option to buy.

FC Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement for the loan of the player Paco Alcácer for the 2018/19 season. The German club will pay FC Barcelona 2 million euros for the loan and will pay the player’s wages.

Borussia Dortmund reserves a purchase option for 23M euros plus 5M in variables and FC Barcelona a pre-emption right. However, FC Barcelona will have 5% of the surplus value of a future sale of the player by Borussia Dortmund to a third team.

50 games, 15 goals and four titles
Paco Alcácer arrived at FC Barcelona from Valencia in the 2016/17 season. Since his debut, on September 10, 2016 against Alavés in the league, the Torrent striker has played a total of 50 matches with FC Barcelona: 37 of the League, seven of the Cup, five of the Champions League and one of the Spanish Super Cup.

A few meetings that have helped him score 15 goals with the Barça elastic divided between Liga (10), Copa (4) and Champions (1). In addition, during his Barça season, he has raised two King’s Cups, one League and one Spanish Super Cup.
