Messi: ‘My motivation is to be better every time

FC Barcelons star, Leo Messi, was one of the main attractions at the launch of ‘Otro’. He offered a rare interview to the digital platform where he spoke about the modern game and the importance of working as a team.

Messi admitted: “I don’t like losing and every game we play the objective is to win.” However the Argentine star said the collective effort was worth more than individual brilliance. “The team is above every individual. The biggest successes at the biggest sides are earned by working hard as a group, a good group. We’re all important.”

Leo Messi, who was involved in the victory over Villarreal, revealed that his objective this season is to win every trophy available. “Whenever we start a new season, I always try to improve on an individual level as well as collectively. I want to us win everything. That’s what is expected at a club like Barça. For that reason the objective is to win every competition we’re in and my motivation is that I improve every year.”
