Max Allegri respond to man utd transfer

Massimiliano Allegri is ‘very interested’ in the Manchester United job and views them as an ideal ‘big fish’ for his managerial return, according to reports.

Allegri is out of work after leaving Juventus at the end of last season, having delivered five Serie A titles and reached two Champions League finals during his spell in Turin.

He has been learning English since his departure from Italy and is looking outside of his home country for his next job.

Allegri is looking for a club where he will be able to win national titles and challenge for the Champions League but even though United are someway off that level – and have serious competition in the form of Liverpool and Manchester City – the allure of managing one of the biggest, and most cash rich, clubs in world football would be too strong to resist.

He is also convinced he could do a far superior job to Solskjaer, who has only delivered four league wins this season, and believes he would get time from the Manchester United board to turn things around – something he believes he could do far quicker than the current incumbant.
