Lyon striker Moussa Dembele allegedly favours making a return to English top-tier at the end of the current campaign.

Since building his reputation at Celtic and Fulham, Dembele has gone on to found back of the net 26 times from 52 games for Lyon in all competitions.

The talented Frenchman’s fine form has naturally led to interest from elsewhere, including the likes of Everton and Manchester United who continue to keeping tabs on the 23-year-old’s progression.

According to Football Insider, talk of a second stint in the Premier League has been welcomed by former Celtic forward as he contemplates his options going forward.

Should he opt to depart from the Ligue 1 outfit, the report suggested that the frontman would prefer to make a switch to a top Premier League team.

Dembele still has just under four years left on his current deal, putting Ligue 1 giants, Lyon in a strong position regarding the player’s future.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to hijack Manchester United move for Leicester City playmaker James Maddison if Christian Eriksen decides to leave the club.

With the Dane showing no signs of signing a new deal at the club, the North London outfit expects the 27-year-old playmaker to sign for another team when the transfer window will be re-opened in January.

That has left the North London club requiring a long-term replacement for one of their vital players, although it appears that they have already set their sights on their preferred target.
