Emre Can is keen on joining Red Devils after growing unsettled at Bianconeri. Germany international admitted he was ‘furious’ at being left out of the Old Lady’ Champions League squad and he is now eyeing an exit.

Juve are said to be considering using Emre, and team-mate Mario Mandzukic as makeweights in any deal for Paul Pogba but Can’s entourage have been contacted by several clubs across Europe regardless, and he is weighing up his options.

Interest has largely come from Bundesliga, and Premier League and Man United are viewed as the most attractive option available to the German midfielder.

The 25-year-old midfielder said last month after finding out he wasn’t registered to compete in European football for his club this campaign: ‘On Tuesday they phoned me and told me, in a conversation that didn’t even last a minute, that I was not on the list and they didn’t give an explanation.

‘That does make me angry and furious because I think that I played well last season, above all in the Champions League.

‘I really can’t understand this and will now see what I decide to do from here and I will seek talks with the club next week.’ His team-mate Mario Mandzukic, heavily linked with a move to Man United in winter, was also left out of the Champions League squad.

The pair’s former coach Max Allegri is also thought to be keen on replacing under fire Norwegian manager in the Man United hot seat and would be open to both Can and Mandzukic being part of his squad list.
