Manchester United scouts ruled out a move for Bruno Fernandes this summer as they were concerned about his adaptability, according to reports. The Portugal international was heavily linked with a move to several Premier League sides over the summer including United, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham.

Fernandes was one of Sporting’s star players last season with 29 goals and 17 assists, while he helped the club win the Portuguese Cup.
