Bruno Fernandes believes he’d become a Premier League player summer, that’s according to reports.

The 24-year-old Portuguese winger is one of the most sought after midfielders in the world.

His barnstorming for both club and country last term has earned him the attraction of mostly the Premier League clubs and his agent has been trying to broker a deal for him.

Tottenham Hotspur are said to be lurking around to sign him. Their interest in Fernandes stems from the uncertainty surrounding the future of Christian Eriksen, who has been linked with a move to Madrid.

However, Manchester United are believed to be front-runners for his signature after holding talks with the player’s agent Miguel Pinho .

The Red Devils have seen their offer for the player rejected and things have really going quiet since then.

But now, according to Sportwitness, who cited a report from  Correio da Manha, claim Fernandes has returned to full training with his club and despite the speculation, he has been calm and well behaved.

The Portuguese star has a €35m clause in his contract that may have stopped bidding proceedings. Sporting will pay him €5m,  if a club offers more than €35 million bid and it is rejected by the club, and this will be in fusion if he remains with Sporting beyond the summer the offer is made.

This means an agreement must be reached before any club make an offer for him.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claim United are working on two more transfers, it is hoped that Fernandes’ is among.
