90% Done: Man Utd to sign this player next week

Following a poor end to the 2018/19 season which saw the attitude of a number of established players questioned, the Norwegian head-coach has set his sights on securing the services of the highly-rated forward.

Daniel James fits the bill having exploded onto the scene for Championship club Swansea this season, founding back of the net four times and providing seven assists in 33 Premier League games.

Although the Welsh attacker has predominantly played in a wide left role for the Swansea City, according to the Daily Mail reports that he has been earmarked to start for Man Utd next season.

The Red Devils are also reported to have beaten competition from direct Premier League rivlas Newcastle United, Everton and Brighton – now managed by James’ ex-manager at Swansea Graham Potter – to his services.

James’ imminent arrival at Old Trafford could have implications for existing members of Norwegian managers squad with Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez both having been rumoured with moves away from the team in the summer.
